For my own sake, I will try to keep a diary of what is going on here, but also for the sake of my family, friends, and others who might be interested in what’s going on in New York City. Also, I will try to update on developments in politics, aspects of culture and much more. Sometimes a “blog post” can also just be a link of interest; but, still, somehow connected to NYC, the US or me and my stay here.

I arrived in New York City on August 25 , and I have been staying at the Millenium Hilton since then, right beside Ground Zero. On the attached picture is a view from my hotel room, where you can see Ground Zero.

There’s also a picture from the water, where you can see the remaining World Trade Center, and where the Twin Towers are missing - the slim glossy black building above the arch, which is above the ferry, is the Millenium Hilton. I’m on the 30th floor with three of my friends.
