<description>[...] China Trip, Day Six—April 11: This was yet another packed day, but it proved to be very interesting. As the previous day, we headed up to Tianjin outside Beijing to visit Danish industrial giant Danfoss&#8217;s main China facilities. Frequent readers of my blog will remember that Danfoss was the case company of the CBS Case Competition 2006, which gives it a special place in my heart. And it was amazing to travel thousands of kilometres across the globe to see that the buildings Danfoss has in Beijing, look just like the ones in Denmark. On the other hand, and equally inspiring, was how the structure of the organisation had been adapted to Chinese norms. It is big as well as little things, such as how the canteen is and how employees are appreciated, that meet the eye. [...]</description>

<description>I already watched the finals... very interesting!

I also got a copy of the case, I'm very impressed. Perhaps I'll join when I'm older and wiser and further into my programme.

		<description>Lise,

You can watch the finals at www.casecompetition.com if you're still interested.

No--we didn't pick Danfoss because of our common origin :-)--we picked it because we found the company to be a very good partner, who was willing to work together with us for a period of 8 months. It took a lot of effort on our part as well as theirs, so it was more a match of interests than anything else that led to our working together.

<description>Nice case! It looks so interesting; I wish I could have made it to see all the finals. Did you pick Danfoss because you are from Sønderjylland?
