Bombardier
Below is the stock price development of Bombardier, the company behind the infamous DHC-8 Q400, the past 3 months. The first serious SAS incident with this aircraft type, was on September 9 this year. Can you spot the trend?
I wonder what this will look like tomorrow morning when the stock exchange in Toronto opens. And I also wonder how other airlines will behave following SAS’s complete abandonment of the Dash 8. A move, which–by the way–in my mind was the only plausible course of action to maintain/restore long-term customer confidence and thus SAS itself.

Clearly you had a traumatic experince there Bjørn, but i’m afraid that you seem to be the only one my friend…
Nothing happened with the stock price and I just read news about the company increasing its sale i Europe (http://www.dr.dk/Nyheder/Penge/2007/10/29/130126.htm?nyheder). Clearly the companies buying these planes are crazy and heading straight into troubles.
Maybe the reason is that nobody really cares about what happens in little Denmark these days…

:-)
Let’s see. The stock exchange in Toronto has not yet opened…
But I agree, some of the other airlines seem completely oblivious to these incidents.
